Loads of fun, good for larger groups. I recommend reserving the bbq place at the end of the track for some lovely food before coming back. Remember to bring your meat.
Relaxed, cool draisen ride, great explanation, wagons in good condition P/L top, reservation mandatory. Route beautifully located, mainly goes through the city fields.
Friendly, nice operators - that was great! (Although the 10 euro deposit should have been mentioned on the website - not everyone walks around with cash anymore.)
Unfortunately, the ravages of time have taken their toll. The "stops" are rotten (see photos), offer no seating (apart from the first one) and no sun protection whatsoever. The trolleys have also seen better days - the savings bank advertising can still be seen under the already faded SWR1 print.
The saddles (why not, like elsewhere, bucket seats?) are very hard, the handlebars (yes, despite the screw being tightened) are wobbly and the driving experience is also inconsistent, at least with No. 5 - sometimes heavier, sometimes lighter.
The route itself was so-so - nothing special with the exception of the fawn we encountered. Then having to turn the trolley around and go back the same way didn't really excite us either.
Conclusion: "Cycling" with only one gear on a heavy vehicle on hard saddles with the opportunity to take breaks only in certain places due to the single track - you should know that in advance and want it.
At least we agree: Draisine - never again!
The trip was nice and the reservation was also easy. Therefore I would recommend it :)
The way back was very cumbersome, we were glad we didn't drive the entire route and the stops could be renewed and equipped with trash cans.
It's really fun and really worth a trip. Also easy to do with children. It's a long walk through shady forest areas, which is helpful and pleasant in the heat. One star deducted because two platforms are closed and it doesn't appear that they should be restored.
Very nice for a picnic, but the “boss” at the last stop shouts at people instead of talking to them normally about his problem.
The men at the briefing are very nice and explain everything very well.
A great experience except for the “boss”.
Unfortunately we had to wait a long time at the entrance :/ The route is run down, in my opinion it's dangerous at times. You have to open and close the level crossings yourself, but some cars don't really take the signals seriously because it's just a "draisine crossing". I think the price is pretty high too.
Wouldn't recommend it, there are much better attractions in the region.
Friendly operators and great fun. At the final turning point there are very fair prices for wine and even a 9 wine tasting. The return journey is then sporty!
